Haul from Korea

Happy mid-week! How's everyone coping?

HB went for business trip in Korea last month and how could I not ask him to buy me some Korea skincare and cosmetics!

This are what I ask him to bring back (I only asked him to get some leaders solution mask, etude house eye primer & CLIO gelpresso)
But he came back with more!

Ta Daa~

Samples~

Been hearing good reviews about this and some even say this is almost comparable to Urban Decay's. Sad to say this is no longer available, the only way to get it is from Qoo10 (previously known as Gmarket) I just saw this in Etude house recently. Probably they brought it back after many complaints? lol!

Etude House Eye Primer

My UD 24/7 pencil eyeliner in black did smudge after a few hours, but this is sufficient. Without this, the same eyeliner will smudge within an hour. I'm waiting to try this on my other eyeliner.
Warning: As I'm only using BB Cream as foundation, it appeared a lil' pale on my lids as if I'm using a pale eyeshadow when I'm staring at myself in the mirror. From far it looked ok to me.

Many claimed that this eyeliner will not smudge. I wonder how true is this.

CLIO gelpresso

BB cream that
he bought for (I did not ask him to). Actually I did but did not specified which brand so he got me this.

Faceshop Faceit BB Cream

This is great! the staying power is comparable to Etude house's precious mineral BB Cream, but slightly lesser coverage. I'm still trying this out to see if it will cause some blemishes (not pimples) like the etude house's.

Assorted masks from missha

I have not tried out the masks yet, hope the leaders solution ones really delivers.

I've been lazy lately to use those mask + those I've had in my cupboard.

I think these are the norms that everyone will get when in Korea. Is there other items anyone out there will buy in Korea? Leave me a msg will ya!

June's Bellabox

Received my bellabox just minutes before a 2 hr meeting last Friday.

By the way, they have changed their courier from singpost to courex. Apparently, hear some bad reviews about the courier company. Personally I prefer TA-Q-BIN as it is easier to arrange for a redelivery than other couriers.

Anyways, here are the products received for June
Vouchers!

I have to admit that I seldom use the products except for a few,
-          Have been using this since the feb bellabox came (omg 4 momths already!) and it seems to last forever.

-          I have almost used up and I like the scent. Will consider to repurchase given the fact that I seldom use perfume and I have around 5 bottles of full size perfumes idling in my cupboard.

-          Not bad, not oily, will not repurchase as it is too ex. Forgotten the price, probably around 90-ish or 100-ish I think.

-          Used right after my DIY hair colour and it leaves my hair so soft!
-          A little goes a long way. Will consider to repurchase when I have finish my 2 bottles of Essential nuance airy hair serum.

-          Too oily for the full face for the first use, on the second use (the same capsule) I only used it for the neck and drier portions on my face. There should be a third use if I did not accidently squirt it onto the floor.
-          This is probably great for gals with drier skin, of when travelling to a drier climate country.
Now, I have 2 boxes for storage as the usual pink box comes with this delivery box
bella box cost $15 per months and bella box often consist of at least 1 retail size sample, of not, they will have more than 5 sample size items.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O

*Updates*

I've found the photos of the remover results in my hard disk... lucky me

I’m currently using this makeup remover for removing me makeup daily. This is super expensive in SG (Found in Guardian S$30+ for 250ml). However, thanks to my aunt who is living in Paris, she always get 2 bottles for me on her annul trip back to SG.
It is almost EUR12 (appx S$20) for the 500ml bottle, which is more value for money than any makeup removers available in SG (tell me if I’m wrong).  It is available in HK and Taiwan too probably more or less same priced as France.
Get it at bonjour if anyone is going to HK cause it is definitely going to be cheaper than SASA or in the Bioderma retail shops as they often have promotions going on.

The Solution:

On lazy weekends, where I do not have to step out of the house, I use it to remove all traces of oil on my face after I woke up and continued with my usual routine of facial products.
It serves the same purpose as bifesta (formally known as Cleansing express) which i used interchangeably when my Bioderma runs out. Selling at S$16-S$18+ for 300ml bottle at Watsons if my memory doesn’t fails me.
The only down side for Bioderma is that it does not comes in a pump, and I would more than often have too much liquid on the cotton pads and some dripped on the floors =(
If you are, like me, a lil clumsy, you can transfer into a smaller bottle with pump, so that you can save some space on the vanity table, and most importantly, the products that go wasted on the floor.

Just when I'm going to post this. I realised that the photos taken for the post is lost! All Lost!!!
These are the results:

Products used:

First wipe (Bobbi Brown from the left)

Second wipe(Bobbi Brown from the top)

Third wipe (Bobbi Brown from the left)

The above are the only ones I can retrieve. As far as I can remember, Heroine make mascara is the only one that didn't budge during cleansing and that is the only mascara that doesn't smudge after a long day.

I'm using this:
Got it during Watson's promotion sometime back and I didn't look back to other mascara remover after since.
