My first KL trip by plane (Sep12)

I know the title looks sua ku, but this is really my first time going to KL via plane. The rest of the time was by car.

Tagged along my HB for a business trip earlier last month, I got a culture shock when I arrived at KL airport coz its the first time I actually walked down the stairs from the plane entrance/exit directly onto the landing area.

Day1

Except for the bigger gap between platform and train, not much difference to our MRT

Extremely spacious with cool aircon. Not like SMRT -_-

I basically spent Day1 in the hotel room with no windows, 'nuahing' and watching tv and putting masks and etc.

Day2

Followed HB around with his dad's friend driving him to meet customers. Not much pictures as the places are more ulu than Tuas.

They actually have this cute looking plastic token to replace the conventional tickets/cards. Scan it as what you do with ez link cards at the gantry, pop them into the gantry on your way out. (looks like putting coins in those piggy rides)

The locals are using cards thou.

Shopping time!

This sephora building is so beautiful!!! can it be called a building coz it is only 2 stores high? 2nd floor is its warehouse I think. Coz I saw a lift but it was not for customer.

We shared dinner as we were not too hungry

Day 3

I was finishing the pot of tea when HB came along and ordered this super chocolatey cake. Yummie~

No home sweet home for me as I've gotta work the next day. I hate work >_<

For some reasons I don't know of, I like taking the plane as much as I like to be soaked in the pool/seaside, but taking plane is too expensive for me, except for this trip as it cost just $100 by air asia.

I miss the plane so much now.O_O

Can't wait for another trip on plane soon!



Oct's Bellabox

Hi Everyone

I know I havent been posting bellsbox's post for a few mths now, because I'm dissappointed in the contents after the price hike.

The reason for me to post this month's box is because it has got my current love - Bioderma cleansing water. Read my previous post here.

Friday Photo Meme - Childhood Snacks

Yay it’s Friday! This time, it's gonna be all about snacks that you've had in your childhood.

It's wierd coz I've scheduled this post in mid Aug but it still shows as draft!

Nevertheless, these are some childhood snacks that I love back then, and now too! =))

1. Dragon Beard Candy  

 

   

2. Malt Candy

I still remember they used to sell it in big metal bowls, with lots of disposable wooden plastics stuck into it. Whenever a customer buys it, the vendors will split the chopsticks and swirl the malt candy until it forms a round-like shape. And we have to keep doing that while eating to prevent the candy from melting due to the heat in the mouth.

3. Poh Piah (Sweet)

On bottom, is the candy used as the filling, together with grounded peanuts. I think it is malt too, since it is always found together with dragon beard candy

4. Mua Chee

Made of glutinous rice powder, were cutted and roll onto the mixture of peanut and sugar (similar to the sweet poh piah) and eat as it is.

5. Buttered sweetcorn (No pictures)

Sold in many places including pasar malam, it is a totally ripped off! You can make it yourself by steaming sweetcorn kernels, sprinkle some salt and butter just before serving.

Marina Bay Sands

At the courtesy of my aunt's friend, we have gotten a stay in Marina Bay Sands!!

Actually, we have stayed in MBS last year too. It was a suite with a separate bedroom, balcony links frm the bedroom to the living area. And there was also my favourite nespresso machine.

Sadly to say there is no pictures of the room previously and this time -_-.

But there are tonnes of them taken in the infinity pool!

I can literally stay in the pool the whole day if I don’t have concerns of getting tanned. The view is just too great. And thanks to the pool, I managed to learn how to use my new camera in night shot mode

July's Bellabox

July's Bellabox

I was waiting patiently and at the same time, excitedly for my box and it finally came. Congrats to the gals who won the Tiffany necklaces.

The reason for delaying this post is that I've received my Jimmy Choo's perfume bottle without the perfume?!?!

My colleague did not believe what she saw and she even managed to open the rubber stuff at the opening to triple make sure that it is emply.. LOL! Lucky for me, bellabox was readily is replying and offered to re-sent me the perfume at no extra cost.

The only thing I've started to use is the twist bands.. Although it clainms that it will not cause any marks on the hair, but for me, there are still marks after I have un-tied it.

Have anyone started to use the twistbands yet? Did it leave any marks on your hair? Pls shared.. =DD
