Friday Photo Meme - Random things in my bag Edition

Carrying on from last friday's Meme, these are the random items in my bag

Other than the 5 items mentioned previously, here are the others

I do not normally put on perfume as I always forget to do so before I leave my house, so whenever I see it and feel like putting on some perfume, I'll use this. I got mine from Robinson, apparently now Watsons sells them too. They are not very cheap, probably S$20+-. but definately useful. I have a problem with mine sometime ago (unable to refill), and email their customer service people (in UK I guess). And they actually mailed me another one of the same colour at no additional cost. I guess this is better than those cheaper ones cause if there are any problems with them, there will be no replacement. =DD
I think this we can be put in the carry on luggage during travelling So pop over to their website and have a look.
BTW I'm using flora by gucci for this spray.

2. Wet tissues
I got mine from Watsons, and I only use this 2 types

3. Makeup on the go
These are emergency items in my bag in case of last minute dates or in mornings when I only have time for basic makeup (bb creams and eyebrows) and I have a date in the evening
4. Moisturisers & hairclips

Hand moisturizer from crabtree transferred into a squeezable tube that I got from Sasa.
Lipbalm. I’d get cracked lips every now and then, not very frequently but often unexpectedly. So it is a PR (permanent resident) in my bag and I’ll dig for it whenever I need it.
Hairclips for days when my fringe annoys me

5. Bank tokens and bag hanger
Bank tokens. Need to check whether my pay has arrive >_<
Bag hanger. When I don’t feel like putting my bag behind my seat or there is no place for my bag when I’m at a restaurant.

Recap of the list:

1. Travelo
2. Wet tissues
3. Makeup on the go
4. Moisturisers & hairclips
5. Bank tokens and bag hanger

Hurry up and join in the fun!

Leave a comment with a link to your post if you do take part! I'd like to know if there are anyone out there sharing similar things as me =))

Food Allergy / Intolerance

Came across this at outlet.com.sg and bought it without thinking too much.

Went for a Food Intolerance & Allergy Test by Healing Resonance.

At Block 7 Everton Park #01-19 Singapore 080007, which is very near to my office.

Turns out that I have intolerance to wheat, gluten and milk =(

That means, I cannot have prata, thosai, all kind of breads, milk, noodles (includes instant noodles), yogurt, biscuits, Milo =( etc. Almost all the food that I love!

Bought these medication, which is suppose to help with my stomach bloating. Total damage $88 +$68 = $156.
I really did stay away from wheat products for 5 days, until the 6th day, I was feeling hungry in the office and I ate 2 pc of cheese biscuits. Only 2 pcs, and it left my tummy bloating until the next morning. And I still have 1 new box of it at my work station.
The good part is, my tummy definitely feel less bloated after avoiding wheat. The doctor advise my to stay away for 1 month, and then probably to eat them occasionally. I will feel that occasionally means treats. Haha.
Its good to know what you are allergic or intolerant to as the usual GP does not tell you when you go to them. There are other more in-depth tests out there. Be sure to find out more before paying!

Friday Photo Meme - What’s in my bag during workdays Edition

Came across these 2 blogs (Yumeko & QueerPinkFish) about today’s title. It is started by Yumeko. Every Friday, Yumeko will do a photo meme of 5 photos with different themes.
Here are the few she's done before..

These are the 5 things I will bring along even if I change my bags

1. Handphone

Sorry for the lousy quality, this was taken by my ex-phone (Iphone 3Gs) and I grabbed it from my facebook account. All (if not, most) of my pictures in this blog are taken using my current Galaxy S2.

2. Portable charger
This is a must have! I got mine from gmarket )now known as Q0010. My phone’s battery gets drained quite fast. Even when I have fully charged it, when I wake up the next morning, 50% of the battery will be gone. Also, I play a lot of games when I travel (to distract myself from those annoying fellow commeters).

3. Earphone
What is a game without music? During workdays while travelling. Serves the same purpose as #24. Wallet

Stores most of my cards and ID. My then bf (now HB) got this for my birthday almost 2 years ago

5. Tissue holder

My friend gave it to me during one of the Christmas probably like 2 years ago (I can’t remember when). I also used this to my EZ-link card and some loose change and use them during lunch on workdays as I don’t want to bring my wallet because of its size.

It used to have the nicest circles as shown, but over the time they came off =(

Come and join in the fun too!

What’s in my bag during workdays Edition:
1. Handphone
2. Portable charger
3. Earphone
4. Wallet
5. Tissue holder

Parco Cafe

Our Dinner $55++(Shared among 2 pax), with additional order of Foie Gras

Pan-seared foie gras burger with caramelized apple, onion marmalade and crispy lettuce

There's a wierd smell on the foie gras. Have never experience this smell before

Breads!! Although I'm on a 'no wheat' diet, I managed to grab a few small bites out of each of them.

On the left: Olive bread
Center: Lavender Bread
Right: I can't remember, sorry =|

Chickpea cream soup Seared gamberi prawn tails and Rosemary

Look at the serving! Nice thou

Homemade braised wagyu beef cheek tortilla served with taleggio sauce
Too creamy for me

Lemon sole and prawns, artichoke mash and lobster bisque

My first time eating artichoke. Taste a lil sour n pungent. Acceptable to me =)

Lemon honey kurobuta rib
Japanese pork rib tossed in lemon honey sauce

This is super delicious! ribs were not too dry, n the amount of honey used is just right! Does not required too much effort to separate the bones with the meat.

Gula melaka

Dessert to end the meal. Nothing too fancy but the good old gula melaka.

Note: This set meal is really for 1 pax. we were still not feeling full by the time we finished this meal. So beware! =D

June's Bellabox

Received my bellabox just minutes before a 2 hr meeting last Friday.

By the way, they have changed their courier from singpost to courex. Apparently, hear some bad reviews about the courier company. Personally I prefer TA-Q-BIN as it is easier to arrange for a redelivery than other couriers.

Anyways, here are the products received for June
Vouchers!

I have to admit that I seldom use the products except for a few,
-          Have been using this since the feb bellabox came (omg 4 momths already!) and it seems to last forever.

-          I have almost used up and I like the scent. Will consider to repurchase given the fact that I seldom use perfume and I have around 5 bottles of full size perfumes idling in my cupboard.

-          Not bad, not oily, will not repurchase as it is too ex. Forgotten the price, probably around 90-ish or 100-ish I think.

-          Used right after my DIY hair colour and it leaves my hair so soft!
-          A little goes a long way. Will consider to repurchase when I have finish my 2 bottles of Essential nuance airy hair serum.

-          Too oily for the full face for the first use, on the second use (the same capsule) I only used it for the neck and drier portions on my face. There should be a third use if I did not accidently squirt it onto the floor.
-          This is probably great for gals with drier skin, of when travelling to a drier climate country.
Now, I have 2 boxes for storage as the usual pink box comes with this delivery box
bella box cost $15 per months and bella box often consist of at least 1 retail size sample, of not, they will have more than 5 sample size items.
